Gavin DeGraw
La quinta parte de estos cantantes cuasi desconocidos en Argentina es para Gavin DeGraw, un estadounidense de 32 años que se hizo conocido en su país natal debido a que dos canciones suyas, I don't want to be y Chariot, aparecen en la serie One Tree Hill. DeGraw cuenta con tres cd's editados (Chariot, Gavin DeGraw y el recientemente lanzado Free), de los cuales, por el momento, solo se puede conseguir su segundo album por estos lares. El cantante, pianista y guitarrista, hace una mezcla entre, rock, pop y country, que mezclados con su particular vos, dan como resultado algo muy agradable de escuchar.

Muy buenos, pero poco conocidos: Parte 4

Jem
Seguramente uds piensen que esta cantante llamada Jem, de 33 años y proveniente de Gales, es una/o de esas/os tantas/os cantantes que conozco solo yo, pero de ella seguro que conocen al menos una canción. "Come on closer" la deben haber escuchado todos en la conocida y famosa película "Closer", solo que no sabian quien la cantaba... bueno, yo les acabo de sacar la duda, es Jem.
Siguiendo con los films, esta galesa también hizo canciones para la buena película, pero con poca difusión, llamada "Eragon".
Su primer (y hasta ahora único cd editado aca, tiene dos) "Finally Woken" es bastante recomdable, es una mezcla de pop, rock, con algo (muy poco) de electronica, y buscandolo bien se lo puede conseguir en nuestro país.

Daniel Powter
Continuando con la lista de cantantes, llegamos a Daniel Powter, un canadiense que se hizo conocido en el mundo con su canción Bad Day, que fue spot publicitario de Coca-Cola en toda Europa, haciendo que este tema fuera número uno en E.E.U.U., Alemania e Italia. Este cantante y pianista de 38 años fue uno de los artistas que tocaron en el Live8, el multinacional concierto por la concientización en el mundo de la pobreza en Africa. Powter tiene editados dos discos, que con algo de suerte se pueden conseguir en Argentina, Daniel Powter (2005) y Under The Radar (2008).
